MOTHER DAUGHTER WEEKEND IN PALM SPRINGS

Laurie and Madison had a Mother/Daughter weekend getaway in Palm Springs June 6TH and 7TH. About 13 Mom's and 13 5Th grade girls stayed at the Rancho Los Palmas Hotel. They had a great time lounging in the lazy river and going down the water slides. They also had a wonderful dinner across the street at the Cheesecake Factory. The next day was another day of fun and sun. It was a nice time for the Mom's to be with their daughters, but also, some of these girls will be going to a different Middle School next year so it was also a time to reminisce about the their school year.

MADDY&5TH GRADERS HAVE FUN AT RILEY'S FARM!

On Thursday May 21st Maddy and her 5th Grade class went to Riley's Farm. Riley's Farm is nestled in the apple growing foothills of historic Oak Glen. Riley's Farm is a chance for students to utilize techniques of historical re-enactments and it also provides a first hand glimps of the American past. Whether they were grinding flower, observing a blacksmith at a waterwheel driven hammer mill, or being taught the manual of arms by the Cival or Revolutionary War soldiers, students had the chance to see the sites and the sounds of history in the re-making!

MERIDIANS CLASS GOES TO SAN DIEGO ZOO!

Riddy and her 1st grade classmates went to the San Diego Zoo on Thursday, May 19th. She had a great time and she said most of the animals were out and about!
