HAPPY 12th MADISON!!

Madison turned 12 on November 3, 09. As the dad I have decided she can no longer have any more birthday's.... ENOUGH MADISON!!

RV'ING AT VAIL LAKE!

On Oct 23-25th Temecula Crew rented an RV for 2 nights and 3 days. The crew went to Vail Lake which is not more than 20 minutes away (good distance for us beginner's). We went with a whole group and in all there were a total of 9 RV's. The RV's in the camp ground were decorated for halloween, they also had scary hay rides and trick-or-treating for all the kids. Very fun time and can't wait to go again next year.

MADISON'S FIRST DANCE

Madison and a bunch of her 6th grade friends went to their 1st 6th grade middle school dance on Thursday Sept 24th, 09. The dance took place in the school gym and was right after school.

RODRIGUEZ FAMILY VISIT TEMECULA

Dan, Jennifer, Sara and Gabrielle Rodriquez visited the crew here in Temecula on Saturday Sept 7th, 09'. It was a nice day to catch up with each other and lounge by the pool.

DAD CELEBRATES 47th

Dad celebrated his 47th birthday on August 19th, 2009. After work dad spent a nice evening with some friends as well as kids at Fillippe's Italian Restaurant.

SCHOOL STARTS FOR GIRLS IN 09'

August 17, 2009 was the first day of school. Madison moved across the way to Temecula Middle School. The school nickname is the "Bobcats". Meridian is now a 2nd grader at Temecula Elementry School. Her school nickname is the "Huskies".

HAPPY 8TH BIRTHDAY MERIDIAN!

Meridian celebrated her 8th birthday at S.E.A.G.A gymnastics this year. She and the kids had a great time.

KYRA SPENDS THE NIGHT IN TEMECULA

The night before KAK left for Hawaii, Kyra spent the evening with The Crew in Temecula. Even though it was only one night they sure made the most of it!

BOWLING WITH GRANDPA IN PS

During our visit in Palm Springs, KAK, The Crew and Grandpa escaped the heat to bowl a few games at Grandpa's favorite bowling alley. As you will notice some of us were better than others, was that a gutter ball uncle Ken?

THE CREW MEET KAK AND GRANDPA IN PS

At 113 degrees in Palm Springs, the crew traveled to the Marriott Shadow Ridge to meet up with KAK, Grandpa and Sari. Luckily it was a dry heat, Yea right!! But needless to say we were poolside for most of the time and also took a day to go to Knott's Soak City.

BRI VISITS FROM PITTSBURGH

Bri visited Temecula during the week of July 19th. It was nice for her to see everyone...especially Maddy!!

THE CREW VISIT GRANDMA LEE ON HER 75TH!!

On June 28th the crew traveled up to Seattle to celebrate Grandma Lee's 75th birthday! Uncle Ray also visited from Colorado which was quite a surprise to Lee!

MADISON GOES TO CAMP IN PITTSBURGH!!

Madison went to a weeklong camp in Pittsburgh with her best friend Bri on June 13th. The camp was called "Ligonier Camp". She was in tribe 10 which encompassed a cabin of 10 girls. They were involved in a lot of activities, such as, horseback riding, soccer, basketball, etc. She met a lot of new friends who live in Ohio and West Virginia. She then spent another week at Bri's house playing in their neigborhood. Madison and Bri had a great time together.

MADISON'S "PROMOTION" TO 6th GRADE

On June 11, 2009 Madison had her 5th Grade promotion ceramony. She was also one of several recognized as having been on the Honor Roll for all 3 consective quarters. Now its on to 6th grade and middle school!!

MERIDIAN'S END OF THE YEAR 1ST GRADE SPLASH

On June 10, 2009 Meridian had a 1st grade end of the year activity fest at Vintage Hills Elementry. Some of them, even Riddy, got wet!! Now it's on to 2nd grade..

MADISON'S "LAST SPLASH" POOL PARTY

On June 10th the 5th grade students at Vintage Hill's Elementry had an end of the year "Last Splash" pool party prior to their "promotion day". Everyone had a great time in and out of the water!

RIDDY PERFORMS IN "BUGZ PICNIC"

on June 8th, Meridian and other first grade students performed an end of the year play called "Bugs Picnic". Riddy's character was one of several firefly's. Another awsome performance Riddy!

MOTHER DAUGHTER WEEKEND IN PALM SPRINGS

Laurie and Madison had a Mother/Daughter weekend getaway in Palm Springs June 6TH and 7TH. About 13 Mom's and 13 5Th grade girls stayed at the Rancho Los Palmas Hotel. They had a great time lounging in the lazy river and going down the water slides. They also had a wonderful dinner across the street at the Cheesecake Factory. The next day was another day of fun and sun. It was a nice time for the Mom's to be with their daughters, but also, some of these girls will be going to a different Middle School next year so it was also a time to reminisce about the their school year.

MADDY&5TH GRADERS HAVE FUN AT RILEY'S FARM!

On Thursday May 21st Maddy and her 5th Grade class went to Riley's Farm. Riley's Farm is nestled in the apple growing foothills of historic Oak Glen. Riley's Farm is a chance for students to utilize techniques of historical re-enactments and it also provides a first hand glimps of the American past. Whether they were grinding flower, observing a blacksmith at a waterwheel driven hammer mill, or being taught the manual of arms by the Cival or Revolutionary War soldiers, students had the chance to see the sites and the sounds of history in the re-making!
